When you are in a CVC battle there are a few things that are different.
First is that when you look at the towns on the global map they may appear differently
If you look in this picture you will see that 2 of the town’s have a green tint to them. These are towns from our clan. A reddish tint means they are from the opposing clan. Sometimes other clans may show slightly red but as you get more familiar you will be able to see the difference. If you are unsure click on the town.
A clan members town will show a green box around the town
An enemy town will have a red box around the town
When you look at the mini map there will be three colors of diamonds
Like we normally see, the blue is your location, the green is clan members. The red is the town of the enemy clan.
When attacking other towns, you only get points in the competition when you are going against the enemy clan.
Also when you attack, make sure that your influence is greater that the influence of the town or owner of a resource tile you may be attacking.
If you do attack send out your troops. As soon as they have left your town put back up your shield. Do Not Wait. There are people who will either drop right next to you and attack or they use march speed ups to move very fast and attack you. Never stop to check the results with your shield down.
